Urgent Logistics
What to Include in an Urgent On-Board Courier Brief
The information needed to assess a time-critical hand-carry shipment before a courier, route and customs workflow can be confirmed.
Give the real deadline
State when the item must be collected, when it must arrive and what happens if the deadline is missed. A precise deadline allows flight options, airport handling, customs presentation and final-mile delivery to be assessed together.
Describe the item completely
Provide the goods description, quantity, value, dimensions, weight, battery or hazardous-content status and any temperature or security requirements. Time-critical does not mean information-light; incomplete facts make feasibility harder to confirm.
Prepare contacts and documents
Identify a collection contact, destination contact and decision-maker who can respond throughout the journey. Prepare the invoice, packing list, permits, licences and recipient instructions before the courier reaches the airport.
