Confirm that the movement is genuinely temporary
An ATA Carnet is designed for eligible goods that will leave and later return without being sold or consumed. Confirm the purpose, destination countries, travel sequence, expected return date and whether every destination accepts the intended use category.
Create a precise goods list
Serial numbers, model numbers, quantities, values, weights and clear descriptions should be recorded before departure. The physical goods should match the list throughout the journey, including when items are packed across multiple cases.

Plan endorsements and handovers
