Standardise product master data

Maintain consistent product descriptions, HS references, origin information, dimensions, weights and regulatory notes. When product data changes across suppliers or marketplaces, permit and courier workflows become harder to automate.

Separate routine and exception shipments

Most orders may follow a standard path, while controlled products, high-value items, returns and warranty replacements need separate checks. Tagging exceptions early prevents them from entering the routine queue unnoticed.

Measure avoidable rework

Track missing invoices, address corrections, permit amendments, failed deliveries and repeated customer queries. These measures show where a clearer intake process can improve both cost and customer experience.
